RuneScape Members Guide to Level 90

If you are under level 90 in runescape, then you shouldn’t feel like a noob. Its normal and once you hit level 90 by tonight, congratulations.
So if you are in the range of level 70s your stats should be about this. Around 55 to 60 strength. 50 to 55 def. And 60 attack Defence should always be lowest unless you keep your stats even. Or if you like to be a player killer(pk-er), Strength highest, attack low, and defence lowest. Now lets start the guide.

For level 70-79

First. You want to get your Strength up. What u want to do is train on something good. Bring food. Your training on Ankous. For members, this will be a great money source also. You want to train until 75 strength.

For combat level 70-79s, the maximum level you should get is 81 to 82. After getting 75 strength, you want to get a good attack for higher leveled weapons so you can hit higher. Get your attack up to about 75. This can make you wield the Abyssal Whip, also a god-sword, which will make you hit very high. With 75 strength you can hit about 23 with whip. With god-sword, you can hit about 27 to 28 which is great for the level You have. The maximum level you can get to from doing this is probably around 83 to 84.

Now for defence. Defence is going to boost you about 5 levels. You want to get your defence high so you will get hit less so you don’t die as easy. You want to train to level 70 to 75 defence. I recommend 70 defence so you don’t get too high in defence. If your not level 90 yet, keep training strength until 85. If your not 90 then get defence to 75.

For level 80-89

This should be much less time to get to level 90 because your a higher level. But you do want to train on Ankous or Dragons. Dragons are great experience and good for this level. At this level you should have 65 to 70 strength.

You want to train your strength to 80 to 85. I RECOMMEND 85 you do not have to do it. After getting 80 to 85 strength. The max level you can get from this is 83 to 91. If you are over 90 do not stop looking at this guide because it can help you get even higher. After getting your strength up, attack is very big in this. At the level your at, you should have 65 to 70.

You want to get this to 75. If you already have 75 attack, then skip this step, that doesn’t matter right now. After getting the 75 attack if you didn’t have it already your level should be 92 to 93 at the max.

Now you want to get 70 defence. If you already have 70 defence, your level should 92 to 93. If it is not, then you should be level 94.

(Its much easier if you have done the Prince Ali Rescue quest and can get through it for free, if not I suggest walking to the Lumbridge bank, which is a little further.)

After you get a couple hundred, stand in the desert bank and sell them. The last time I sold them it was around 150gp each, I am not sure how much they are now, I suggest checking the Grand Exchange.

If you have a thousand cow hides, and sold them at 150gp each, you would get around 150,000gp. This was great money, and if you kept it up you could get a good million out of it.

Runescape Million Second Secret

The second Runescape million secret I love is flax seeds. It’s real easy to get and you can make a lot of gold from you.

You can always check out the price of flax in the grand exchange. I would strongly encourage storing your flax if prices are low and selling only when prices are high.

At the point of this writing, grand exchange are buying flax seed at 73 gp. So, if you have picked a 1,000 pieces of it, you will easily get 73,000 gp.

Think about it, all you need is to pick 15,000 pieces of it, you will easily get one million gp in Runescape.

( found in the southeast corner of the second level. [level of Famine])known in the members world to bring in about 200k in one hour. but in free members you dont make anything from it. the best alternative for training like these is hill giants and thsoe are always packed but give the same exp and there bones are 500 each. just train str level to your desired level. good luck!

RANGED

Range is the easy part but boring.range gives you the freedom to “safespot”or attack a NPC from a safe distance without getting hit. so u can eliminate food and just train, a big advantage at hill giants.

From levels 1 -20 get at goblins or cows your choice. at cows remember to bring for a bit of cash.

Levels 20-40 I would suggest barbarians and flesh crawlers for best exp.

From level 40 ranged and on in free members, should always be fleshcrawlers because of the fast experience you get from them which you cant get anywhere else in the free servers.

FAST RUNDOWN OF TRAINING PART OF GUIDE

20 str 5 atk — goblins

30 str 10 atk — cows

50 str 20 atk — barbarians, fleshcrawlers, and hill giants

1-20 range — goblins and cows

20-40 range - barbarians and fleshcrawlers

Always go to world 1 to sell your runes or world 2 if you are a member. Free Users:

Levels 1 — 15: Mine copper and tin. The best place to mine is south east of varrock. Only mine here if you intend of keeping what you mine as it is very crowded and is very competitive on who gets the ore first. If you want a quite place where you’re not bothered about collecting ore go to either Rimmington or the Dwarfen mines. Rimmington is the quietest though Dwarfen mines are closest to a bank.

Levels 15- 30: Now mine iron. The best places to mine are in the same places as I had states before.

Levels: 30 — 60: Mine coal. It is very competitive on getting the ore again. Best places can be like barbarian village or if you dare . . . the Wilderness.

Levels: 60 — 99: You now a high enough level to go into the mining guild. The fastest way is to stay there and keep mining coal till 99.

Members:

Levels: 1 — 45: Much the same as free users though when mining coal and iron, the best place to mine is East of Ardougne.

Level: 45- 99: This is the fastest Mining exp in game and its mining granite. Granite respawns and is mined as fast as iron so can be mined at a very quick pace. If you gt a large piece of Granite you get 75 exp, medium 60exp and small 50 exp. Granite is found in the southern part of the desert. Near to where you start Enakhras’s Lament Quest. Using this method you can get upward to 50K exp an hour which is as fast as you can get. It estimates to around 260 hours work to get 99 Mining which is quite long but quicker than mining ore.

What you are looking for is someone saying ” . . . . . . . . . .certain house . . . .has G-Altar” You will want to go to this persons house and look for a very crowded altar and use you bones on it. When using this altar when both incense burners are lit you will get 300 percent more exp. For dragon bones this would mean you’ll get 252 exp per bone, other than the 72 exp you’d get from just burying.

To get 99 prayer you’ll need about 100- 110 mil worth of dragon bones. Once you’ve bought all those bones it’ll be less than a month till you get 99 if you work hard.

Runescape: Blue dragons and Red dragons

1. Blue dragons:
When it comes to bone collecting, blue dragons are probably your best choice. They are level 111, so if you are a low level player, pray while meleeing or range them. Below the Heroes Guild. There is only one dragon here, and usually there is already someone killing it. Not recommended.

Taverley Dungeon. This is probably the best known spot to kill blue dragons, and that is why you should avoid it; it is too crowded. However, there are some advantages. At 70 agility you can use the shortcut, which makes it the closest spot to a bank. It also has a few safespots for rangers and halberds.

The Ogre Enclave beneath Tanoth of GU. This is the best spot to kill blue dragons. Although it has grown in popularity, it is still usually less populated than the other two areas. There are 6 blue dragons in the cave, all with safespots.

It is quite a walk to the nearest bank, but simply Duel ring tele to CW and you can nearly make it all the way back to the cave on run energy alone. If you’re using a Bull Ant of T-Bird to carry hides, one spec scroll will put you right back in the fight!

A Day At Barrows - RuneScape Reflections

The Barrows is a very popular, challenging and dangerous minigame in the massive online game called RuneScape. Many players make big money and free runescape account at the Barrows, but many - even the experienced Barrowers like myself - risk loosing millions worth of items due to bad luck or not being alert.

I am Barrowing a lot to get my mage and range levels to 99 (currently range 96, mage 97, combat 91). Barrowing is great mage training as the loots from the chest often provide me with the necessary runes to cast Magic Dart of Slayer (slayer lvl 55 required). I have so far done well over 100 runs in the Barrows, and have acquired more than 3000 boltracks and blood runes and about 8k chaos runes. I don’t keep count of gp or mind runescape, but I am never out of stock of needed runes.

The most treasured loot I’ve gotten so far from The Barrows is:

* Torags Platebody

* 2 Guthans Helms (sold for 3.35 mill gp each =))

* Veracs Helm

* Veracs Brassard

* Veracs Plateskirt

* Karils Skirt.

Not to mention all the half keys - at least 4.

Most people pray Protection against melee attacks and thus don’t have to hide and run like I do, they just activate prayer and let their character autoattack with a magic spell they have set. So these players spend a lot of prayer potions to finish off the brothers in the crypts. When you enter one of the crypts (spade needed) your prayer will be drained by approximately 10+ every 10 seconds or so. Without the sip of a prayer pot Barrows would be impossible to do except for those very high levelled runescape accounts.

My way of barrowing is very risky but it saves me expenses on prayer potions. I have a moderately high combat lvl with 70 defense, but I only mage and range at Barrows as I have quit training melee altogether. Here is a simple description of how I do the Barrow runs.

I stock up with runes for entangle spells (79 magic required) and magic dart spells (55 slayer required). I don’t use pray on the melee brothers at all - I simply search their tomb and instantly entangle the brother that emerges. Then I run off a couple of squares and attack with magic dart. The tangle spell holds my foe to the spot for 15 seconds, enough time to cast 4 magic darts. Before the tangle spell breaks I run behind the tomb and waits 5 seconds before I repeat with a new entangle. After a hold spell has been cast and worn off, your enemy will be immune to any hold spells for 5 seconds! Therefore it is important to keep your distance from physical contact with the melee brothers if your prayer is off - their “embraces” aren’t exactly like the ones you get in momma’s arms =p

Finishing off the Melee brothers like I do is very risky. You must know how to hide behind the tombs the proper way. I use a technique that is similar to “side-stepping”, two of the corners of each tomb give this possibility. Side stepping is used by high levels that fight close up with the brothers - when they need to eat and regroup they have positioned themselves at a corner of the chest such that when they just move a step off from their foe which will be stuck on the corner of the tomb.

I keep getting questions and comments on why I don’t use Melee Prayer like everyone else. My initial thought was to save on prayer pots so I started using ancient magick. Again without praying melee. With my high magic level I can use Ice barrage - it holds the enemy for 20 seconds and deals massive damage. Ancient Magick turns out to be is very expensive, so I would start with an Ice Barrage and then continue my attacks with Ice Bursts. I made profit anyway (guess I was lucky with my lootings) - but I’d rather use my blood runes for some proper pk’ing.

After some experiments and testing I decided to continue with Modern Magic instead, and haven’t regretted since. The risk has increased, but it only makes it more entertaning. If I should die and loose my Ahrims mage outfit or Guthan helm - well I hope the finder will be happy =p. So far I have been lucky - yesterday I got Veracs Plateskirt! Now I only need Veracs Flail for a full Verac set.

Aaaa - the satisfaction of picking up free stuff! This happened on the same day as I got Veracs Skirt!

I was in Dharoks tomb preparing to take him down - as always with butterflies in my stomach - killing Dharok without melee prayer on is VERY DANGEROUS (that guy can deal at least 58 damage in one hit when his health bar is close to zero).

Suddenly I see a player getting massive blows to his character, it happens so quick that he has no chance to escape. And voila! On the ground is the remains of this poor player - and what riches he dropped! I picked up: Obsidian Shield, Black mystic top and bottom, 200+ rune arrows, Berserker helm, black ranger set and so on. My inventory was full of lobs and I unfortunately had to see some of the things this poor player dropped being picked up by others as I couldn’t gobble up them lobbies fast enough.

With a newly “looted” obby shield and a fresh Verac Plateskirt in inventory I decided to teleport to closest bank and have a break from the game. No need to test my luck further =P

Anyway - Dharok will still be waiting for my return to The Barrows.
