Since it’s launch in 2001, Runescape has never stopped growing. Since then, Runescape has become so vast that getting to know everything by yourself has become virtually impossible. This is particularly why Runescape Fansites have received large attention in the last few years.

In Runescape there are dozens of skills, hundreds of locations to explore and thousands of items to collect and sell. This has made it virtually impossible for one to know how to do everything by himself. And that is exactly why Runescape fan sites have been created; to help document the game.

There are multiple uses of a fan site. A popular use for example is for getting quest help. Quests can take up a lot of time to complete since you have to analyze the clues and move back and forth between locations but following a quest guide takes the guess work out of it.
